Donaldson static (not self-cleaning) air filtration systems are most often chosen to protect inlet air on turbines and generators in urban, industrial, offshore, marine, and coastal environments.


GTM for Marine/Offshore Applications

GTM for Marine/Offshore ApplicationsDS Series oil/water separators effectively and efficiently separate oil from compressed air condensate. Seven models can be matched to compressor capacities from 70 to 4,500 scfm. Once processed by a DS unit, condensate can safely be released to most municipal waster water treatment systems.

Dual Inlet GDS for up to 79,000 cfm airflowThe GDS filter system has air inlets on two sides, covered by weather hoods with moisture eliminator panels that eliminate 99.5% of droplets larger than 60mm from the incoming airstream. Insect screens are optional and are shown in the photo at left. Banks of filter cartridge pairs provide high-efficiency barrier filtration against dust, pollen, dirt and other airborne particulate. Designed for gas turbines and generators with operating airflow of 9,000 to 79,000 cfm / 255 to 2237 cm/min.

GDSIIThe modular GDS filtration compact package cleans inlet air for gas turbines and generators in both on shore and offshore applications around the world. Pairs of cartridge filters, mounted horizontally in the filter house delivers low initial and operating pressure drops, enormously high dust holding capacity and maximum filtration efficiency. It incorporates the Donaldson Spider-Web® nanofiber filtration technology. It is available for all sizes of gas turbines up for largest turbines and down to the smallest machines. Multi face intake systems are available with or without weather hoods and moisture eliminators. The design is compatible with any performance enhancement inlet systems such as evaporative coolers, chillers and anti-icing systems.

GDS for Large Turbines (over 80,000 cfm)Donaldson GDS filtration systems clean inlet air for gas turbines and generators in both onshore and offshore applications around the world. Pairs of cartridge filters, mounted horizontally in the filter house, provide maximum filtration efficiency for large turbines with operating airflow of 80,000 to 1.2 million cfm / 2237 to 33557 cu.m/min. Design supports many inlet enhancements such as moisture separators, acoustic hoods, evaporative cooler or chiller coils, and anti-icing systems.

GTR System with PowerCore Filters

GTR System with PowerCore FiltersDesigned for low maintenance, GTR employs our patented PowerCore filter media technology. Because filters made of PowerCore handle more airflow than conventional pleated-paper filters, the GTR can be much smaller — as much as 2/3 smaller! — than conventional inlet filtration systems. Robust PowerCore provides high-capacity particulate loading, resulting in long filter life at a sustained low pressure drop.
